Monthly Gardening Tip: Preparing Figs for Winter
As winter approaches, ensure your fig trees are prepared for the colder months:
- Mulch Well: A thick layer of mulch around the base helps retain soil warmth and moisture.
- Light Pruning: After leaf drop, prune lightly to shape the tree and remove any damaged branches.
- Protection for Potted Figs: Move potted fig trees to sheltered spots or wrap them to protect against frost.
Thank you for supporting Bayoudreams Gardening! We’re thrilled to bring these unique figs to our community and look forward to growing together.
Happy Gardening,
